Balmiki Education Foundation

The Department of Social Science at Balmiki Education Foundation is committed to helping students understand society, culture, history, and the world around them. The department aims to develop critical thinking, social awareness, and responsible citizenship among students.

Academic Focus

Students are guided in:

  • History – Exploring past events, civilizations, and important personalities
  • Geography – Understanding the physical environment, climate, and human interaction with nature
  • Civics / Political Science – Learning about government, rights, responsibilities, and democracy
  • Economics – Understanding resources, production, trade, and basic economic principles

Teaching Methodology

  • Interactive classroom discussions and group activities
  • Use of maps, charts, and visual aids for better understanding
  • Project-based learning to connect theory with real-life situations
  • Encouragement of observation, inquiry, and analytical thinking
