Spin a Yarn
Our School, Balmiki Education Foundation recently held an event on 2082-02- 05 which was exciting and educational event for students of classes 6 and 7. The event included an activity called 'Spin a Yarn' for class 6. English Elocution competition for class 7.Many students from different houses namely Satya (Red House),Gyan (Yellow House), Vidya (Blue House ), Sanskriti (Green House) actively participated and showcased their talents in story telling, poem recitation, presentation and public speaking. The program began with a worm welcome from our Block Incharge , Ms.Pranita Moktan, Who introduced the student anchors. The anchors chosen from both classes did wonderful job in hosting the event confidently and clearly. In the elocution competition, Class 7 students did the poem recitation from their respective English books and impressed the audience and judges with with their confidence, voice modulation, and presentation. The first position was awarded to Aarohi Ghimire of Green house which the second position was taken by Aaningwa Sademba of Red house and the third position was taken by Arina Khanal of Red house . The whole event was well organized, and it encouraged many students to teke part in such activities. It was a great platform for students to express themselves and build their confidence infront of their peers.
