Even though World Music Day is officially celebrated on June 21, our school celebrated it a day later, on June 22. As World Music Day is mainly about celebrating music and singing, our school made the occasion extra special by organizing live performances.
Boys and girls from classes 8 and 9 formed a small band and performed in front of all the students and teachers. They played three songs in total, including one unplanned performance. The entire crowd enjoyed the show—clapping, cheering, and even singing along at times.
However, the person who truly stole the spotlight was the drummer. His energy, vibe, and rhythm made the whole performance even more exciting and engaging.
What made the celebration even more special was the joyful mood it created. For a moment, it did not feel like a regular school day; instead, it felt like a mini concert right inside our school. The event reminded us how music brings people together and creates beautiful memories.
Overall, it was a wonderful way to end the day while celebrating the power of music and the talents of our friends.
